This person must <br />be familiar with universal and hazardous waste management practices, environmental <br />regulations, and implementation of worker health and safety programs. <br />Duties Assigned: The Environmental Health and Safety Engineer assists the Environmental <br />Health and Safety Manager with the following: <br />• Ensuring that ECS Refining and RGP follows relevant environmental regulations and <br />implements appropriate procedures in order to comply with federal, state, and local <br />regulations <br />• Developing written procedures and plans for universal and hazardous waste management <br />as required by law <br />• Conducting relevant facility inspections <br />• Assuring facility operating permits are in order and kept up to date <br />• Implementing the worker training program and maintaining the appropriate records. <br />• Implementing the facility health and safety program and maintaining <br />appropriate records. This includes holding regular safety meetings, conducting <br />industrial hygiene monitoring, and handling the worker's compensation program. <br />Training Requirements: The Environmental Health and Safety Engineer will receive all elements of <br />the training program. <br />
