STANDARD OPERATING PROCEDURE <br /> Procedure#: DRAFT Title: <br /> Issue#: 1 <br /> Issue Date: 5/8/2004 Emergency Procedures: I N L A N D <br /> Supersedes Date: None Bomb or Terrorist Threat eTemple-Wand CDmPa" <br /> 1.0 Purpose <br /> 1.1 The purpose of this procedure is to help accomplish three goals:protection of employees; <br /> protection of property and equipment;and continuity of operation. <br /> 2.0 References <br /> 2.1 IQP 9000 4.21 Safety Policy 0001 <br /> 2.2 IPPI Safety Management System Manual,Chapter 14,Appendix K,Emergency Procedures:Bomb or <br /> Terrorist Threat <br /> 3.0 Definitions <br /> 4.0 Responsibility <br /> 4.1 The General Manager(GM)is responsible for ensuring there is adequate planning,resources and <br /> general oversight for the administration of this procedure. <br /> 4.2 The Production Manager(PM)is responsible to the GM for: <br /> • Ensuring adequate equipment,supplies and materials are on hand to conduct this procedure. <br /> • Ensuring adequate supervision is maintained over this procedure to protect affected <br /> employees and the assets of the company. <br /> + Direct oversight in the execution of this procedure. <br /> 4.3 The Human Resources Manager(HR)is responsible to the GM for: <br /> • Providing adequate procedures and training materials for the conduct of this procedure. <br /> • Maintaining training records relevant to this procedure. <br /> 4.4 The Manufacturing Coordinator and Facilitators are responsible to the PM for providing direct <br /> supervision over employees in the conduct of this procedure. <br /> 4.5 The Maintenance Facilitator is responsible to the PM for the maintenance of facilities and equipment <br /> needed or used in the conduct of this procedure. <br /> 4.6 All employees are responsible to their immediate superior for demonstrating compliance with the <br /> elements of this procedure. <br /> 5.0 Safety <br /> 5.1 All safety rules,regulations and procedures will be observed while carrying out the activities associated <br /> with this procedure. <br /> 6.0 Procedure <br /> 6.1 The key individual involved in a bomb threat is a person who receives the call or warning.
