\.,. ....e <br />HEALTH AND SAFETY PLAN <br />The site location for the proposed job is as follows: <br />NOACK PUMP <br />4500 E. FREMONT ST. <br />STOCKTON, CA 95215 <br />(209)948-8817 <br />The project manager and the health and safety coordinator will <br />be Leonard Crisp of Wester Meter Service, Inc., 2735 Teepee Dr., <br />Stockton, CA 95205, Ph: 209-948-6124. The site safety officer <br />on the job will also be Leonard Crisp. Alternate safety officer <br />will be Crystal Hale. <br />Western Meter Service, Inc. will have on the site one (1) fire <br />extinguisher and one (1) first aid kit. Refer to site map for <br />location. <br />Western Meter Service, Inc. shall notify the local fire department, <br />USA, and San Joaquin County Environmental Health Division 48 hours <br />before excavation shall begin. <br />The tank must be empty of product before start of job. <br />Western Meter Service, Inc. will triple rinse the tanks with <br />soap and water. Rinsate will be pumped from the tanks and hauled <br />away by RAMOS ENVIRONMENTAL SERVICES of Sacramento, CA (916)371-2570 <br />to GIBSON OIL AND REFINING CO. of Redwood City, CA (415)368-5511 <br />for disposal. <br />The tanks will be dry -iced, as required for diesel tanks at the <br />rate of 15 pounds per 1,000 gallon capacity. The gasoline tanks <br />will be dry -iced at the rate of 30 pounds per 1,000 gallons <br />capacity. The tanks will be monitored with a combustible gas <br />indicator (CGI). When safe readings are indicated, the tank <br />openings will be closed except for minimal venting to prevent <br />pressure buildup. At no time will Western Meter Service, Inc, <br />cut or weld on the tanks. <br />After the tanks are extracted, they will be secured on a truck <br />for transport. The tanks and plumbing will be hauled by CAL - <br />COAST MFG of Turlock (209)668-9378 to their own facility to be <br />cut up for scrap. All of the above procedures will be done <br />according to code. <br />
