D. If Contamination exyusure is encountered on this project, ac,tivities will cease and proper <br /> notifications and procedures will be followed. <br /> 6. EXCLUDED WORK ZONE <br /> The boundary of the site shall be an excluded work zone. Personnel not actively involved in site <br /> work activities (other than inspectors from concerned regulatory agencies) shall not be allowed <br /> within the excluded work zone. <br /> 7. HAZARD COMMUNICATION <br /> ■ All personnel are to be familiar with this Site Work Health and Safety Plan, <br /> ■ Field supervisor will telephone for emergency service and notify office when needed. <br /> ■ Scott Co. employees and their subcontractors should briefly review Containment <br /> Solutions Site Safety Plan to assure all support items are in place and that individual <br /> scope of work is clear. <br /> ■ The field industrial hygienist shall keep in contact with the general contractor and <br /> Containment Solutions of any changing conditions which could effect health and safety. <br /> 8. PERSONAL SAFETY EQUIPMENT <br /> Support workers engaged in the inspection work shall wear/have available personal <br /> protective safety equipment as minimum: <br /> Level D <br /> ■ Hard hats <br /> ■ Safety glasses and/or goggles <br /> • Ear protection <br /> ■ Work boots <br /> • Gloves <br /> ■ Coveralls <br /> 9. FACILITY SAFETY EQUIEMENT <br /> The following safety equipment shall be continuously available at the job site: <br /> ■ First aid kit (20-unit) <br /> ■ Fire extinguishers (2)ABC <br /> ■ "No Smoking" signs <br /> ■ Barricade tape <br /> ■ Explosimeter (LEL)/Organic Vapor Analyzer. <br />
