Dispenser pans are
available with removable side panels that greatly improve access to the inside.
TANK SUMPS
Dualoy 3000/FLX II piping system components are designed to be used with flat -sided
or standard 42 or 48 -Inch diameter fiberglass tank sumps. If the tank sump is made of a
material other than fiberglass such as steel or high-density polyethylene, contact
Ameron regarding appropriate methods for making and sealing penetrations.
SEALS AND BOOTS
Penetrations through sumps and dispenser pans are made with the following
accessories:
•
Dualoy 30001L fiberglass penetration fittings. Sump penetration fittings with curved
Inner flange are sized to fit standard 42 or 48 -inch diameter tank sumps and with flat
innerflange to fit straight -walled dispenser pans. Sump penetration fittings require a
5 -inch diameter hole for Weaver fittings or 4 -inch hole for Ameron fiberglass fittings
for installation
and are designed
to accommodate inside of sump Centralizers at
Side ent Onl A or pan Penetration 9 and 3 o'clock provide
ry y. fitting free drainage of annular
large locking nut space
Swivel end
holds the connector
assembly in
place. A typical 3 -inch NPS penetration seal requires a 5 -inch
diameter hole in the sump or dispenser pan wall for installation. The flexible seal
achieves fluid -tightness at the sump wall by means of a compression fit. The flexible
seal is compressed against the containment pipe by means of a stainless steel hose
clamp.
• Flexible closure boots. A 3% x 1.80 inch flexible closure boot isolates the annular
3
