PUBLIC H<H SERVIAS <br /> SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH DIVISION ` <br /> Karen Furst, M.D., M.P.H., Health Officer <br /> 304 East Weber Avenue, Third Floor • Stockton, CA 95202 `'F6" <br /> 209/468-3420 <br /> PUBLIC NOTICE <br /> NOTICE OF FINDINGS REGARDING <br /> SITE MITIGATION PLAN <br /> NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a CORRECTIVE ACTION PLAN for possible soil <br /> contamination from the underground storage tank (UST) formerly located at 16 Harding <br /> Way, Stockton has been reviewed by San Joaquin County Public Health Services, <br /> Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD). The plan is a proposal to excavate soil that <br /> may have been contaminated due to unauthorized releases from the UST that was <br /> located on the property. <br /> PHS/EHD has made a tentative determination that the plan is in compliance with <br /> California Health & Safety Code Chapter 6.7, Section 25299.37 and California Code of <br /> Regulations Corrective Action Requirements, and that the resultant work will not create <br /> significant adverse environmental impacts which exceed the benefits to be gained from <br /> cleanup of the contamination. <br /> The remediation plan is available for public review at PHS/EHD, 304 E. Weber <br /> Avenue, Stockton during normal working hours, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Final <br /> PHS/EHD approval for the plan is scheduled for May 10, 1999. <br /> Questions regarding the specific site concerns or procedures should be directed to Lori <br /> Duncan, REHS, at (209) 468-0337 or sent in writing to her at 304 E.
