All possible more- efficient methods of performing tasks related to the paint process would have to be studied and noted with a system devised for evaluating success. The needed employee training would have to be developed and implemented. The suggested employee incentive program would have to be developed and implemented. NOTE: For measure#4, the administrative steps would focus more on the relationship between Star Buildings and the vendor than on employee use of the containers. Evaluation of suggested source reduction measures (2), (3), and (4): • Change in Hazardous Waste -There would be a significant reduction in the generation of hazardous paint waste. • Technical Feasibility- The measures are technically feasible. • Economic Evaluation- There is minimal cost for Star Buildings to allot time and resources for the evaluation,development, and implementation of the suggested measures. • Effects on Product Quality-There are no projected effects on product quality. 12
