Tesoro received your <br /> written schedule by facsimile on January 5, 1995 . <br /> In order to assure you that Tesoro is addressing your inspection <br /> report with proper diligence, we have provided herein a status <br /> report of each of the inspection items mentioned in your facsimile. <br /> As you will see, Tesoro is actively pursuing each of the issues you <br /> have raised. <br /> Item #5 Treatment of Hazardous Wastewater in a Sealed Activated <br /> Carbon Canister. <br /> On December 2 , 1994, Tesoro received a copy of a solicited <br /> proposal from Pollution Prevention International of <br /> Sacramento, California for providing permitting assistance at <br /> our Stockton facility. Due to the intervening holidays and an <br /> internal change in environmental compliance management at <br /> Tesoro, the proposal was in review at the time of your <br /> inspection. Since that time, Tesoro has retained the <br /> expertise of Pollution Prevention International to assist <br /> Tesoro with submitting necessary tiered permitting notices and <br /> applications .
