General Requirements 6 of 8 2. Contractor shall be responsible for all damage to PG&E property, including but not limited to , bathrooms, drinking fountains and shall repair all damage resulting from such use. D. Work by PG&E or by Other Contractors: 1. PG&E reserves the right to perform Work related to the project, but not within the Work specified by this Specification, with their own personnel and to award separate Contracts to third parties in connection with other portions of the project or other Work on the site. 2. The Contractor shall afford PG&E and other Contractors reasonable opportunity for the introduction and storage of their materials and equipment and the execution of their work and shall connect and coordinate this Work with theirs as required by this Specification. 3. If any part of Contractor's Work depends on proper execution of Work by PG&E or any other Contractors. Contractor shall, prior to proceeding with the Work, promptly report to PG&E an apparent discrepancies or defects in such other work that render it unsuitable for such proper execution and results. Failure of Contractor to report such discrepancies or defects shall constitute an acceptance of PG&E's or other Contractors' work as fit and proper to receive Contractor's work, except as to latent defects which may subsequently become apparent in such work by others. 4. Should Contractor cause damage to the Work or property of PG&E or to other work on the site, Contractor shall promptly remedy such damage. 5. Should Contractor cause damage to the Work or property of any other Contractor, Contractor shall promptly attempt to settle with such other Contractor by agreement or otherwise resolve the dispute. E. Contractor Representative's Training: Prior to commencing Work, PG&E shall instruct Contractor regarding PG&E's requirements for safety, security, and fire prevention. During the Contract period, Contractor shall instruct each of their employees prior to commencing Work on PG&E's property of PG&E's safety, building security, fire extinguisher locations, and operation requirements. 1.05 SECURITY REQUIREMENTS AT WORK SITE A. No person shall keep firearms, bows and arrows, or any projectile firing implements on their person or in their vehicle while working at the work site. No alcoholic beverages or drugs are allowed at the work site. Refer to the Drug and Alcohol Abuse Policy paragraph of the General Conditions. Violations of the above requirements by any person will be grounds for denial of access to the work site.
