This inspection is a more <br /> comprehensive inspection of all aboveground storage tanks, see Section 4.9 above. In addition <br /> to the monthly key elements, the annual tank inspection covers the following key elements: <br /> • Tank Area Drainage (No standing water contact with tank or its supports) <br /> • Tank Supports for Deterioration or Defects <br /> • Tank Foundations for Deterioration(concrete for cracking, settling, spalling, anchor <br /> bolts condition) <br /> • Tank Grounding(strap, wire, rod secure and good condition) <br /> 4.12 TRAIN PERSONNEL ON DISCHARGE PREVENTION• DESIGNATE A PERSON <br /> TO BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR DISCHARGE PREVENTION AND SCHEDULE <br /> PREVENTION DISCHARGE PREVENTION BRIEFINGS AT LEAST ANNUALLY (40 <br /> (:FR 112.7 (1)) <br /> The Shop Foreman is the facility designee and is responsible for oil discharge prevention, <br /> control, and response preparedness activities at this facility. <br /> The Shop Foreman shall schedule and conduct spill prevention briefings for the oil-handling <br /> personnel at intervals frequent enough to maintain knowledge and skills adequate to execute the <br /> provisions of this SPCC Plan. The briefings shall review actual events that occurred on the site, <br /> equipment failures or malfunctions and any newly adopted preventative measures. All new hires <br /> shall be trained on the provisions of this SPCC Plan. Once a year, refresher training and <br /> deployment exercise shall be conducted. Sign-in sheets noting,the topics of discussion at each <br /> briefing or training session shall be maintained. <br /> JBH provides a wide variety of training to educate their employees on how to prevent spills and <br /> what to do in the event of a spill.
