This
addendum is in compliance with a California Regional Water Quality Control Board-Central Valley Region
(RWQCB) letter directive, dated 04 June 2001. The following summarizes and addresses the revisions
requested in the 4 June 2001 RWQCB letter:
• Influent sample results for lead analysis in February:The February 2001 influent-total lead in Table
1 was revised to represent the effluent-total lead analysis (non-detect). The influent and effluent
monitoring points are separated by carbon-treatment media vessels which should not effect the total
lead analysis.
• Influent sample results for all constituents in the month of March: Ground water samples were
collected from extraction wells EW-2,EW-4,EW-5,EW-6,EW-7,EW-8,EW-9 and EW-10(EW-2
through EW-10)on 08 March 2001 which was representative of the influent monitoring point. The
March 2001 influent values in Table 1 were modified to represent the average laboratory values for
the laboratory analysis of EW-2 through EW-10.
• Effluent sample results for 7DS and nitrate in February: Ground water samples collected from the
effluent-monitoring point on 06 February 2001 were reported by GeoAnalytical Laboratories hie.
(GAL)as having a TDS value of 660 milligrams per liter(mg/L)and a nitrate value of 38 mg/L.The
February 2001 effluent-TDS and nitrate columns in Table 2 have been modified to include these
values. A copy of the GAL report is included with this addendum.
• Effluent results for temperature and flaw rate: Effluent monitoring data for temperature and flow
rate were collected between December 2000 and March 2001 utilizing field instruments and recorded
in a field notebook. The effluent-row in Table 2 has been modified to include all monthly monitoring
effluent results for temperature and flow rate.
• Receiving water sample results for all constituents in the month of February: Upstream receiving
water monitoring point R-1 was "dry"during February 2001 and therefore not monitored. Ground
water samples collected from receiving water monitoring point R-2 on 06 February 2001 were
837 Shaw Road,Stockton,California 95215
Telephone(209)467-1006 FAX(209)467-1118
