Mr. Steve Winkler
San Joaquin County Public Works -2 - 23 January 2001
We understand that the San Joaquin County Public Works will need to recover operation and maintenance costs
for water storage and handling,in addition to pond maintenance and weed control due to increased flow and
storage throughout the year. Based on previous arrangements with public utilities throughout the State of
California, we believe $500 per month is reasonable. Flag City Chevron's discharge permit will remain in force
requiring them to meet discharge requirements and protect the interests of the San Joaquin County Public Works.
Any violation of this permit will subject Flag City Chevron to mandatory fines of$3000 per violation.
Please contact me at(916) 255-3115 to discuss our next course of action.
AU y4v
Marty Hartzell
Associate Engineering Geologist
Attachment
cc: Ms.Wennilyn Fua, SWRCB Cleanup Fund, Sacramento
Mr.Mike Infuma, San Joaquin County Environmental Health Division, Stockton
Mr. Richard Bokides,Flag City Chevron, Lodi
Mr.Tim Cuellar, Advanced GeoEnvironmental Incorporated, Stockton
