The extracted groundwater will be contained in a 10,000-gallon above ground
storage tank, analyzed for required constituents, and then transported to a treatment facility in Roseville.
Pressure transducers will be used in the extraction well and selected monitoring wells to determine drawdown.
The Workplan is approved with the following comments:
• C&A Order No.5 requires that the interim remediation system must stabilize the groundwater plume to
prevent movement of MtBE toward the Flag City Wells. AGE must monitor the effectiveness of the
interim remediation system, and modify the extraction system to meet the requirements of Order No.5.
• Extracted groundwater contained in the storage tanks must be disposed appropriately under hazardous or
non-hazardous waste manifests. All disposal documents must be provided in the quarterly report.
If you have any questions or comments, please call me at(916)255-3115.
O
Marty Hartzell
Associate Engineering Geologist
cc: Ms. Sandy Gill, State Water Resources Control Board,UST Cleanup Fund, Sacramento
Ms.Wennilyn Fua, State Water Resources Control Board,UST Cleanup Fund, Sacramento
Mr.Mike Infurna, San Joaquin County Environmental Health Division, Stockton
Mr.Timothy J.
