ADMINISTRATIVE ITEMS (continued) <br /> Mr. Willis advised all attendees that all site personnel should <br /> register their arrival to and departure from the facility each day at <br /> MCTC' s South Yard guard station. <br /> Mr. Willis requested that all site personnel recognize the importance <br /> of maintaining a clean and safe construction site environment. <br /> Mr. Calestini requested that shipment of materials and supplies for <br /> construction activities should be addressed to MCTC's Stockton facility <br /> in care of the installation contractor or subcontractor. <br /> Mr. Willis indicated that appropriate waste disposal of wastes <br /> generated during construction were the responsibility of Layne. <br /> Mr. Willis also indicated that Mr. Jason Wong, MCTC' s Environmental <br /> Coordinator would be responsible for assisting Layne personnel with the <br /> administrative aspects of shipping hazardous waste materials to offsite <br /> disposal facilities. <br /> Mr. Willis indicated that Mr. Mike Williams was authorized and <br /> responsible for considering appropriate field change orders during <br /> construction activities. Mr. Willis said that Mr. Williams would <br /> supplement verbal change order requests with written change order <br /> documentation when appropriate. <br /> Mr. Willis advised all attendees that Mr. Williams would conduct <br /> project construction meetings as necessary and that Layne' s Project <br /> Safety Officers would conduct daily health and safety meetings for site <br /> personnel . <br /> III. HEALTH AND SAFETY <br /> Mr. Mike Williams indicated that in accordance with the site specific <br /> health and safety plan prepared by Kleinfelder, Level C personal <br /> protective equipment (PPE) would be initially required throughout <br /> drilling and trenching activities. Mr. Williams advised all site <br /> personnel that modifications to PPE or the air monitoring plan would <br /> require the approval of Mr. Thomas Hickey, B&V Project Manager. <br />
