Piping of natural gas from the meter to the SVE system shall <br /> be above-ground, along the top of beams supporting the existing building roof overhang. <br /> 4 . Installation of the SVE and IAS units . Costs for set up on-site and all necessary permitting <br /> (e.g. air board permit fees) should be included . <br /> TASK 4 - MONTHLY MAINTENANCE AND MONITORING <br /> Task 4 includes all costs for monthly maintenance, monitoring and rental of the unit(s). The <br /> following items shall be included: <br /> 1 . Monthly rental fees (based upon a 24-month remediation period). <br /> 2. Maintenance fees. Costs for all maintenance of the remediation units, well networks, wells, <br /> etc. shall be included. <br /> 3 . SVE monitoring. Start-up monitoring will include daily measurements of extracted organic <br /> vapors and collection of all necessary field measurements. After the initial start-up period <br /> (two weeks), measurement shall be collected on a weekly basis. <br /> 4. Soil vapor samples shall be collected on a monthly basis and analyzed by a State-certified <br /> laboratory for TPH-g and BTE&X. Soil vapor samples will be collected before and after <br /> combustion. A total of forty-eight (48 ) samples shall be analyzed . <br /> 5 . IAS monitoring. Start-up monitoring shall include weekly measurements of ground water <br /> depth and dissolved oxygen in each ground water monitoring well at the site. After a start-up <br /> period (one month), measurement will be collected on a monthly basis. Measurements will <br /> be used to determine initial sparging effectiveness and to determine if ground water <br /> mounding is occurring. Monitoring wells MW- I through MW-9 (See Figure 2) are presently <br /> located on or around the site. <br /> 6. Data collected should be presented in tabular and graphical form in reports. <br /> 7. An on-site log documenting all remediation, sampling and monitoring procedures shall be <br /> maintained throughout the duration of the project. <br /> TASK 5 - BImANTNUAL SOIL SAMPLING <br /> Soil samples will be collected on a bi-annual basis to monitor soil vapor extraction progress. Two <br /> (2) soil borings will be advanced during each sampling event. Samples will be collected for analysis <br /> by a State-certified laboratory. Four (4) sampling events should include: <br />
