Collection of soil samples at five- foot intervals . A total of thirty-two (32) soil samples will <br /> be collected per event. [Six (6) soil samples will be submitted for laboratory analysis per <br /> event] . <br /> 3. A total of twenty-four (24) soil samples will be analyzed for the duration of the bi-annual soil <br /> sampling for TPH-g, TPH-d and BTE&X . A total of eight (8) soil samples will be analyzed <br /> for VOCs. All samples shall be analyzed in accordance with the appropriate EPA methods. <br /> 4. Backfill each soil boring to surface grade with a neat cement. <br /> TASK 6 - QUARTERLY GROUND WATER MONITORING <br /> In addition to all other monitoring at the site, quarterly ground water monitoring and sampling shall <br /> be necessary . All monitoring wells at the site (a total of nine) shall be purged and sampled in <br /> accordance with standard PHS -EHD and Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> (CVRWQCB) guidelines . A total of eight (8) monitoring events shall be performed during site <br /> remediation. Each monitoring event shall include : <br /> 1 . Depth to ground water measurements in each well at the site. <br /> 2. Purging of each well of standing water. Stabilization parameters will be measured during <br /> purging procedures. <br /> 3. Collection of ground water samples from each well . <br /> 4. A total of seventy-two ( 72) ground water samples will be analyzed for TPH-g, TPH-d, <br /> BTE&X and VOCs. <br /> I <br /> 5. Disposal of all purged/extracted ground water as non-hazardous waste. <br /> TASK 7 - REPORTING <br /> All data collected during the remediation period (including results of drilling and sampling) shall <br /> be included in Quarterly Reports. Each report shall include, at the very least, a COMPREHENSIVE <br /> review of all monitoring, maintenance and remediation activities performed at the site during the <br /> previous calender quarter. Each report shall be in a format acceptable to the PHS-EHD and reviewed <br /> and signed by a Registered California Geologist. <br />
