Groundwater is approximately 20-30 feet bgs and flows towards the
northwest. In the city of Manteca, pavement=requirements include a 4-inch
asphalt/concrete cover and 6-inch aggregate base on most developed lots. The
-proposed ARCO site address'is 108 Industrial Park Drive and currently contains
a commercial/industrial complex.
4) San Joaquin County Department of Environmental Health
Contact: Ms. Mary O'Sullivan Phone: (209)468-3420
Ms. O'Sullivan found that there are no records of contamination at 108 Industrial
Park Drive. There are records of groundwater contamination for 220, 400, 555,
575, and 950 Industrial Park Road and 1153 Vanderbilt Circle. A Public Records
Release Application was faxed to the County on August 20, 1996. Ms. O'Sullivan
later notified SECOR by telephone that there were no records on file with the
County for the proposed ARCO property.
5) City of Manteca Water Department
Contact: Ms. Diane (declined to give last name), Engineer
Phone: (209)239-8432
Ms. Diane reviewed City groundwater contour maps and found that the depth to
groundwater is approximately 25 feet bgs within the site vicinity. Local
groundwater is pumped from approximately 100 to 800 feet bgs, withdrawing water
from the Victor and Laguna Formations. Ms. Diane did not know of any
groundwater contamination plumes within the subject site's vicinity, however, she
referred SECOR to the San Joaquin County Health Services Department.
3.3 AERIAL PHOTOGRAPH REVIEW
On August 28, 1996, aerial photographs of the site were reviewed at Pacific Aerial Surveys,
in Oakland, California. A summary of our aerial photography observations is listed below.
It is to be noted that the subject ARCO property,is located on the southeast corner of South
Main Street and Industrial Park Drive, in the City of Ma.nteca, California, see Figure 3.
Figure 1, the Site Location Map, shows the roadways and is a USGS Topographic map
dated 1987.
Photo: AV 4347 0210 5&6
f Date: 8-13-92
L Scale: I"=2000'
JN 40067-047-01
dec-96\arcmten.eca 3-3
r
;i
S
