Charter Way, Stockton, CA(Site Code.508175) <br /> Dear Mr. Infurna: <br /> This Site Conceptual Model (SCM) is submitted on behalf of.Valley Pacific Petroleum Services, <br /> Inc. (VPPS). The purpose of the SCM is to show the relationship between contaminants, <br /> retention/transport media and receptors at the above mentioned site,using current and historic data. <br /> We have concluded that,based on the site characteristics,no cost-effective remedy exists to cleanup <br /> the small quantity of hydrocarbon contamination remaining at the site. We also conclude that the <br /> residual contamination poses no threat to human health, the environment, or beneficial uses of <br /> waters of the State. We recommend regulatory closure as a low;=risk groundwater case. <br /> SITE INFORMATION <br /> The Valley Pacific Petroleum Services, Inc. Cardlock Facility (Site) located at 1501 W. Charter <br /> Way in Stockton, California formerly operated as an automated-refueling facility, and had <br /> previously utilized two 4,000-gallon underground storage tanks (UST's) containing diesel,fuel <br /> and one 4,000-gallon UST containing unleaded gasoline. New"USTs were installed along the <br /> west side of the building and the Site currently operates as an automated refueling facility. <br /> Highway 4 borders the Site to the south and beyond the.highway: a proposed housing tract. <br /> Properties north, east and west.of the Site are zoned for fight commercial uses. . Interstate <br /> Highway 5 is '/2 a mile east of the Site. The location of the site is shown in Figure 1. Figure 2 <br /> depicts the current conditions of the Site. <br />
