(Woolsey Oil, Inc.) Cardlock Facility
1501 W. Charter Way, Stockton, CA (Site Code 508175)
Dear Mr. Infurna:
This letter report presents the results of the -routine semi'annual groundwater monitoring and
sampling activities conducted by Ground Zero :Analysis Inc. ,(Ground Zero) during the second half .
of 2008 at the subject site located on West Charter Way east of South Fresno Avenue(Figure 1).
SEMI-ANNUAL GROUNDWATER SAMPLING ACTIVITIES.
Activities at the site included monitoring water level elevations, and purging and sampling
groundwater from all site wells. Groundwater samples were analyzed for total petroleum
hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHg), total petroleum hydrocarbons as diesel (TPHd), benzene, toluene,
ethylbenzene, total xylenes (BTEX),_ fuel oxygenates [t-Butanol (TBA), Methyl=tent-butyl ether
(MTBE), Di-Isopropyl Ether (DIPE), Ethyl tert-Butyl Ether (ETBE), and tert-Amyl Methyl Ether
(TAME)], and lead scavengers.[1,2-Dichloroethane (1,2-DCA) and 1,2-Dibromoethane (EDB)].
GROUNDWATER SAMPLING AND MONITORING
On November 6, 2008, monitoring wells MWI through MW5 were monitored, purged and sampled.
Groundwater elevations were calculated by measuring the depth to groundwater in each well and
subtracting from the respective wellhead elevation. Groundwater elevations at the site decreased by
an average of.2.18 feet since last monitored on April 8, 2008. Groundwater flow was generally
toward the northeast at a hydraulic gradient averaging approximately 0.005 ft/ft. .
A potentiometric surface map created from the November 6, 2008 monitoring data is depicted on
G:\GROtTNDZE\WOOLSEY.Cl4T\Reports\QMR\2008\2SAR08.doc
i
