• •
River Islands at Lathrop 5044.5.001.01
Monitoring Wells MW-13, MW-15, MW-18 and MW-20 April 13, 2006
SUMMARY OF MONITORING WELL REPAIRS Page 2
' Monitoring Well MW-18
MW-18 is located between the existing San Joaquin River Levee and the recently graded Perimeter
' Levee on the eastern side of the River Islands property. This well had been covered over by
approximately two feet of soil during the construction of the perimeter levee. The well is
constructed of one-inch-diameter Schedule 40 PVC encased in concrete. The soil was excavated to
' a total of 2%2 feet bgs to reveal the existing pipe and repair the well. New protective crash posts and
a lockable monument were installed to protect the well casing.
' MONITORING WELL,MW-18
' Monitoring Well MW-15 and MW-20
MW-15 is located on the southern portion of the property adjacent the Paradise Cut levee. MW-20
' is located on the Northern portion of the property adjacent the Old River Levee. At these locations,
the wells had been covered by overgrown vegetation, but had been adequately preserved by a steel
pipe encasing each well. These wells are constructed of 1%2-inch Schedule 40 PVC encased in
' concrete. No casing repair was required at these locations, but lockable monuments and protective
crash posts were installed to protect the well casings.
1
MONITORING WELL,MW-15 MONITORING WELL,MW-20
