However, taste and odor thresholds have been <br /> reported at 15 -45 ppb. Information is still being evaluated to determine final standards regarding the <br /> establishment of human health maximum contaminant levels. Information regarding MTBE's effects on <br /> plant life has not been widely distributed, if it is available. <br /> PHS/EHD has directed Shell Oil to confirm these results and to include your well in their quarterly <br /> sampling program, if you grant permission.
