WESTERN GEO-ENGINEERS
Certified lab resiUlts, to date show that all the contaminated soil
was removed during the initial tank pull and that the water
contamination seems to be limited to the area of the excavation
and monitor well #1.
You then stated you would draft a letter and send it to Diane
Hanson on Monday (May .23, 1988) to give your OK to continue
construction. You did not at that time indicate that you needed
more information from me, but would appreciate the site assessment
report as soon as possible. (In fact, it was my understanding
that you did not want ANYTHING prior toy the final draft of the
Preliminary Site Assement. )
I have enclosed a packett of figures and tables that was presented
to Diane Hanson during our meeting May 23, 1988. I am also
enclosing a letter sent to John Rutherford which details your
"far. " document.
As stated during our phone conversation and again in the letter to
John, I anticipated submittal of the assessment report with
recommendations by mid June. I will be taking another water
sample set, June 1, 1988, for rush turn around lab analysis, so
this can also be included in the assessment report.
If you have any questions and comments please let me know.
Sincerely,
George L.
