The mitigation measures contained in the San Joaquin Valley Unified Air Pollution <br /> Control District's Regulation VIII shall be implemented to reduce construction related <br /> PM-10 emissions. <br /> 3 <br /> E.;� CULTURAL RESOURCES <br /> 1� <br /> E-I, Potentially Significant Impact: Damage or Destruction of Unidentified Cultural Resources as a <br /> Result of Ground Disturbance Qml2act C-3 <br /> Construction activities associated with development of the proposed project would include the <br /> 11 demolition of existing buildings, construction of new paved areas, and construction of new <br /> buildings and facilities. These activities will result in ground disturbance on the site,with the <br /> 0 potential to unearth cultural resources that would otherwise not be identified. <br /> Finding <br /> 3 <br /> jl Changes or alterations have been required in, or incorporated into,the project which avoid or <br /> ' substantially lessen the significant environmental effect as identified in the EIR. <br /> W� <br /> Statement of Fact <br /> This impact will be reduced by the following: <br /> If cultural resources are discovered during ground disturbing activities, construction shall <br /> i be halted to allow recordation and evaluation of the materials. <br /> If human remains are discovered during development, construction shall be halted to <br /> evaluate the find. If human remains of Native American origin are found,the procedures <br /> I specified in "A Professional Guide for the Preservation and Protection of Native <br /> American Remains and Associated Grave Goods" and the procedures in Appendix K of <br /> �! the CEQA Guidelines shall be followed. <br /> III IMPACTS THAT ARE NOT MITIGATED TO LESS THAN SIGNIFICANT LEVELS <br /> This section identifies those impacts that, according to the Final EIR, cannot be mitigated to less than <br /> significant levels despite adoption of the identified mitigations.
