Site-specific noise studies shall be conducted in conjunction with final road design to.better determine the extent of noise impacts. Feasible measures to mitigate adverse noise impacts shall be identified and implemented. Such measures may include use of sound barriers, establishment of minimum building setbacks, establishment of special noise-insulation measures for new construction, "sound proofing' existing buildings, and other measures.
