3.7 Descriptionof Proposed or Expected Maximum (including second unit dwellings) septic
tank usage on site. The financing p
f g g parcel will have a primary residence, no second unit dwelling is
planned, thus only one septic system is anticipated at this time. Per County ordinances, the 17.7±acre
original parcel is entitled to one primary residence and one second unit dwelling. Therefore this
project could ultimately have 2 homes.
4.0
GROUNDWATER INFORMATION SECTION:
4.1 Description of the depth and gradient of groundwater g g ater in the general area: The depth to ground
water in this area is approximately 100 feet according to the map of"Lines of Equal Depth to
Groundwater" published Spring, 1999, by the San Joaquin County Flood Control and Water
Conservation District. The gradient descends from east to west.
I
4.2 Description/Discussion of any existing and/or potential groundwater contamination
issues in the general location of the site: The concerns for groundwater contamination in this area is
deemed low due to the depths involved. Insecticides
, pesticides, and fertilizers typically do not impact
groundwater at these depths, however, as with any agricultural area, there is always potential for
contamination due to chemicals used in the farming operation.
4.3 Description of location, type and construction of well and location where water sample(s)
were obtained: No water samples were obtained from this site due to the fact that the agricultural well
located in the northwest corner of the site has no accessible outlet for sampling.
4.4 Description of constituents being tested for in the water sample: No water samples were tested. '
4.5 Description of how sample was obtained, handled, stored, and transported to the lab: No waterr `
samples were tested. CJ
4.6 Complete Chain of Custody document, including printed and signed name of third
party sampler, condition of sample and date and time the sample was submitted to the
lab. For Laboratory samplers, complete laboratory report to include the above noted
information: No chain of custody document is available at this time.
t . -
5.0 SOIL PROFILE INFORMATION SECTION:
5.1 Site map showing location, with dimensions, of the soil profile pit on the parcel: See Appendix. [g.1] f
i
5.2 Description of soil profile pit including depth and dimensions: The shallow test holes were
prepared per County Standards. The holes were excavated to a depth of 42 inches and 8 inches in
diameter. They were backfilled with 2 inches of "pea gravel."
5.3 Description of soil lithology as noted from test pit by appropriate professional using industry
standard protocol: The soil in this area is classified as Bo iano clay loam and Co
gg y gna Loam as stated
in the Soil Survey,of San Joaquin County, California as provided by the United States Department of
_ Agriculture, Soil Conservation Service.
2
i
602651Soi[Report 0308
