i'1"
No other intersection mitigation measures are found necessary under"Existing plus Approved
Project" conditions.
Roadway Segments
All study roadway segments are projected to operate at acceptable daily levels-of-service under "Existiri``"
plus Approved Projects plus Project" conditions. No mitigation measures are found necessary under
"Existing plus Approved Projects plus Project" conditions.
YEAR 2020 BASE CONDITIONS
i
' In this study,no programmed improvements over currently existing conditions have been assumed to be in
Place by year 2020. The following mitigation measures are recommended under year 2020 base
conditions.
Intersections
S.R.881S.R.12/Jack Tone Road intersection - Along with the installation of a traffic signal at this
intersection as recommended under Existing conditions, additional intersection widening is projected to
become necessary to provide sufficient capacity through year 2020. Provisionof an additional southbound
left-turn lane and free-right-turn channelization of westbound right-turn movement are recommended at this
intersection over and above the installation of a traffic signal recommended under existing conditions. With
the recommended improvements assumed to be in place under year 2020 base conditions, AM and PM
`peak hour LOS "B" operating conditions are projected.
S.R.881S.R.12/Brandt Road intersection — The installation of a traffic signal, at this intersection as
' recommended under "Existing plus Approved. Projects plus Project" conditions, is projected to provide
sufficient capacity to accommodate traffic demands through year 2020 base conditions. With the traffic
signal in place under year 2020 base conditions,AM and PM peak hour LOS "B" operating conditions are
projected.
Jack Tone Road/Brandt Road ' —
truersecnon is projected to operate at Year 2020 Base AM and PM peals
hour LOS "F" conditions with the currently existing unsignalized control. The intersection is also
projected to meet Caltrans peak-hour-volume Warrant-I1 (Rural Areas)under Year 2020 Base AM and PM
peak hour traffic demands. Installation of a traffic signal at this intersection along with left-turn
channelization for north-south approaches is recommended under year 2020 base conditions. With the
installation of a traffic signal at this intersection, the Year 2020 Base AM and PM peak hour LOS "B"
operating conditions are projected.
Jack Tone Road/Kettlemdn Lane intersection—is projected to operate at Year 2020 Base AM and PM peak
hour LOS "F" conditions with the currently existing unsignalized control. The intersection is also
projected to meet Caltrans peak-hour-volume Warrant-11 (Rural Areas)under Year 2020 Base AM and PM
peak hour traffic demands. Installation of a traffic signal at this intersection along with separate left-tum
channelization for all approaches is recommended under year 2020 base conditions. With the installation of
a traffic signal at this intersection, the Year 2020 Base AM and PM peak hour LOS "C" operating
conditions are projected.
No other intersection mitigation measures are found necessary under "Year 2020 Base" conditions.
Lockeford Oaks Subdivision Traflc Impact Study Page 29
San Joaquin County R407TS002.DOC125-6450-14
