6.0 SITE DOCUMENTS
6.1 Environmental Health Department Records
The EHD was contacted regarding the Site addresses of 18885, 18889, 18907, 18949,
and 18989 North Davis Road (addresses obtained from the San Joaquin County
Community Development Department and permit records discussed below). According
to Cheryl Field of the EHD, no environmental records are on file for these addresses
(personal communication, April 15, 2014).
Live Oak searched the EHD files for well and septic permits for the Site. Six permits
were identified for the Site:
• June 1979 permit for new domestic well (18907 N. Davis Rd.).
• October 1979 permit for new septic system to serve shop (18949 N. Davis Rd.).
The system utilized an 800-gallon septic tank and one 40-foot leach line.
• February 1989 permit for pump replacement at domestic well (18989 N. Davis
Rd.).
• May 1996 permit for addition of one 40-foot leach line and one ten-foot by two-
foot by ten-foot deep sump to existing system at northern house (18989 N. Davis
Rd.).
• February 1997 permit for new irrigation well (18989 N. Davis Rd.) (may be off-
site to north).
r • February 2001 permit for new septic system to serve southern house (18889 N.
Davis Rd.). The system utilized a 1600-gallon septic tank, two 40-foot leach
lines, and two ten-foot by two-foot by ten-foot deep sumps.
These permits have been included in Appendix 4 of this report.
7.0 GOVERNMENT AGENCY RESEARCH
7.1 EPA Databases
The California Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) manages contaminated sites
through two sub-agencies: the State Water Resources Control Board (SWRCB) and the
Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC). The SWRCB's GeoTracker database
includes underground storage tank (UST) sites, leaking underground storage tank
(LUST) sites, cleanup program sites, and land disposal sites. The database can be
searched by reviewing two lists, the Permitted Underground Storage Tank (UST) Sites
list and the Cleanup Sites list. DTSC's EnviroStor database includes Federal Superfund
sites, State response sites, voluntary cleanup sites, school cleanup sites, corrective
action sites, and permitted hazardous waste facilities.
LOGE 1406 Page 4
