File No. 20-3445-0 K L E I N F E L D E R
March 4 , 1991
The scope of our services was outlined in our discussions and in
our proposal dated January 29, 1991. Our services were initiated
based on receipt of our signed agreement dated February 5, 1991 .
This report contains the following information:
1 . Plot plan and vicinity map showing the
approximate locations of the field
explorations performed for this
investigation.
2 . Logs of Test Borings.
3 . Results of laboratory tests.
4 . Recommendations regarding drilled piers.
5 . Recommendations for support of slab-on-
grade floors.
6 . Recommendations for site preparation and
grading.
7 . Recommended pavement sections.
SITE CONDITIONS
At the time of our field explorations, the relatively flat site
contained an almond orchard which was being removed. No evidence
of previous construction was observed on the site. The locations
of any underground utilities or any other buried objects at the
site are not known to our firm.
FIELD EXPLORATIONS
The field explorations for this investigation were performed on
January 22 , 1991 and consisted of drilling two test borings to
depths of from approximately 10 to 30 feet below existing ground
surface. The test borings were drilled with a truck-mounted drill
rig using 6-inch diameter continuous-flight augers. Continuous
logs of the soils encountered in the test borings were maintained
Copyright 1991 KLeinfetder, Inc.
L
