Environmental Sire A'essmeur
r Adnnatnire lloase Il 01flumun'ond) Frnjett. Mnmrtaia Ifnetse, C'ofifnrnia
D-1-8. Solid Waste Landfills, Incinerators, or Transfer Stations SWF/LF
(SWIS).
The SWIS list is a database maintained by the California Integrated Waste Management
Board (CIWMB) of active, closed and inactive landfills. The SWIS is a list of solid
waste disposal facilities that include facilities that fail to meet RCRA regulations. List
dated June 2005. Information contained in the CIWMB list indicates that there are no
active or inactive landfills, proposed landfills, transfer stations, composting facilities or
material recovery facilities reported to exist within 1/2-mile radius of the Site.
D-1-9. Underground and Aboveground Storage Tanks (USTs and ASTs).
These databases are maintained by the State Water Resources Control Board of
registered underground and aboveground storage tanks. The lists dated April 2005,
and February 2005, respectively. The Site did not appear on either lists, and no sites
.. were identified on the lists within a 1/a- mile radius of the Site.
D-1-10. Cal-sites Database (Cal-Sites).
The Cal-sites Database is provided by the California Department of Toxic Substance
Control (DTSC). The list contains sites considered to be actually or potentially
contaminated and presenting a possible threat to human health and the environment.
These sites are generally listed by the state to warn the public or as a part of an
investigation and cleanup program managed by the state. List dated May 2005. The
Site did not appear on the CAL-Sites databases, and no site was identified within a 1-
mile radius of the Site.
There are some environmental sites that cannot be geocoded, but can be located by zip
code or the city name. These sites are referred to as orphan sites. A cursory review of
these sites in various databases shows that these facilities are not located within the
vicinity of the Site, and further, they are not considered as environmental concerns to the
Site.
.. 13
E /-
t'V
