(2) Fire sprinkler systems shall be installed according to Article 10 of the California Fire Code <br /> and the appropriate standards and guides adopted in Chapter 35 of the California Building <br /> Code and the California Electrical Code (place of assembly over 5,000 square feet and <br /> alcoholic beverages require fire sprinklers). <br /> (3) Key Boxes: A Knox box shall be installed according to the local fire department's <br /> instructions. ' <br /> (4) 'Fire extinguishers shall be installed in accordance with California Fire Code, Standard 10-1 of <br /> Volume 2. <br /> i <br /> k (5) Fire permits may be required prior to occupancy to conduct operations hazardous to life or <br /> property (C.F.C. Section 105.2.1) <br /> a <br /> I. UNIFORM BUILDING CODE: The following Uniform Building Code and San Joaquin County <br /> Ordinance requirements will be applicable and shall be incorporated in the construction plans <br /> before submittal to the Building Inspection Division: <br /> (1) The proposed use will change the occupancy from an S-1 occupancy to an A-2.1 occupancy <br /> (U.B.C. Section 3405). The structure must be brought into compliance with al1 current code <br /> provisions including structural, plumbing, mechanical, electrical, energy, and disabled access <br /> requirements. <br /> 2.
