Castello Estates LLC
7701 Bates Road .
Tracy, CA 95304
To Whom It May Concern:
We have lived in our home, which is across the street from the above development, since 1988
and have very much enjoyed the rural community that our area offers. We wish to maintain our
is quality of frfe in this neighborhood and,for this reason we are writing.
We strongly oppose the change in density of the three parcels on Fairoaks Road. To maintain
the current integrity of the neighborhood we feel these parcels should remain at one-acre and
not divided into half-acre parcels.
Not long ago,.the property from Valpico to Lorraine west of MacArthur Drive was developed. At
the time the residents of our community worked with the developer to maintain the rural feel of
the area, resulting in one-acre parcels along MacArthur Drive. Why should we now agree to
half-acre properties within an-area comprised mostly of one or more acre properties?
We are also opposed to mufti-family properties. The potential of up to two families living on
each property—one in a main house, the second in a"CCasiW' up to 1,500 sf is of great ooncem.
We now go from three families to possibly six families to possibly twelve families(and rentals)if
{ the parcels are divided into half-acre lots. WOWI
More homes only mean more cars! Again,we go back to maintaining,to the greatest extent
possible, our rural neighborhood. Twelve new families on Fairoaks Drive feels more like°The
City'"is moving in upon usl
We strongly urge you to keep the Rural Residential zone classification, maintaining one-acre
parcels, and keep our rural area rural.
3 Sincerely,
r San i Taylor for d y
