2.2 Proposed Development <br /> It is proposed to split the Site into ten approximately 40-acre parcels (Plate 3). No <br /> changes in Site use are proposed at this time. <br /> 2.3 Topography <br /> A recent U.S. Geological Survey 7.5-minute topographic map was obtained from the <br /> San Joaquin County District Viewer. In the map, the Site is depicted as vacant, hilly <br /> land crossed by two sets of high-voltage power lines. The property is located at an i. <br /> elevation of approximately 125 to 180 feet above mean sea level. Surrounding <br /> properties are shown to be vacant land and orchards. The Calaveras River is located to <br /> the south. This map is included as Plate 4 in Appendix 1. <br /> 3.0 HISTORICAL RESEARCH <br /> 3.1 Aerial Photographs <br /> Live Oak reviewed aerial photographs of the Site provided by the San Joaquin County <br /> Surveyor's Office in Stockton, California. The available photographs were dated 1937, <br /> 1952, 1963, 1975, and 1983. Two additional photographs, dated October 1998 and <br /> June 2009, were obtained from the San Joaquin County District Viewer. <br /> In the 1937 through 1975 photos, the Site appears to be vacant, grazing la4crossed <br /> by high-voltage power lines. An orchard is located adjacent to the west, the other <br /> surrounding properties are vacant. <br /> In the 1983 and 1998 photos, a portion of Parcel 065-230-03 of the Site appears to be <br /> irrigated. No other significant changes are apparent. <br /> In the 2009 photo, the irrigated laiid*Ao longer apparent. The northern portion of the <br /> Site appears to be planted with vineyard. 'Four structures or objects, possibly hay bales, <br /> are scattered , � ut rn ortion of the Site. <br /> These photos are included in Appendix 3 of this report. <br /> 4.0 SITE INSPECTION <br /> Live Oak inspected the site on October 4, 2011. Photographs of the Site are attached <br /> to this report as Appendix 2. The perimeter of the Site was inspected, as well as a <br /> representative sampling of the field roads. The Site consists of young vineyard; <br /> seasonally wet areas have been left unplanted. An irrigation well is located on Parcel <br /> LOGE 1129 Page 2 <br />
