To the north of the subject <br /> property was a vacant railroad parcel which appeared to have been heavily sprayed for weed control. <br /> Household trash had been dumped on this parcel. To the west of the property was Los Angeles <br /> Avenue, followed by the Boggs Tract Community Center. To the south of the property were three <br /> residences and a vacant lot. To the east was Fresno Avenue,followed by a Highway 4 on-ramp and the <br /> vacant end of Highway 4. California Cedar Products was located to the northeast of the property. <br /> r <br /> 3.2 Past On-Site Sources of Contamination <br /> L No potential above- or below-ground on-site potential or known sources of contamination were <br /> identified from past uses of the site, except for the following: <br /> i <br /> ` Underground infrastructure,including wells and septic systems,maybe located on the property ('>•2� <br /> in the vicinity of the former structures. <br /> L 3.3 Current On-Site Sources of Contamination <br /> V No above-or below-ground on-site potential or known sources of contamination were identified from <br /> it current uses of the site, except for the following: <br /> • Debris, including one drum and at least three five-gallon buckets, was observed within the <br /> storage area on the subject property. <br /> 3.4 Past Off-Site Sources of Contamination <br /> L No above-or below-ground potential or known sources of contamination to the subject property were <br /> identified from past uses of surrounding properties, except for the following: <br /> LThe adjacent property to the north is a railroad parcel. It does not appear that the track is <br /> currently being used. Railroad tracks are frequent locations of hazardous materials spills. <br /> • Four leaking underground storage tank cases and nine hazardous materials incidents were <br /> identified within one-quarter mile of the subject property. <br /> 6. 3.5 Current Off-Site Sources of Contamination <br /> LNo above-or below-ground potential or known sources of contamination to the subject property were <br /> identified from current uses of the surrounding properties, except for the following: <br /> ` Household trash has been dumped at the adjacent railroad parcel to the north. <br /> L <br /> s <br /> L <br /> L <br />
