Groundwater levels must be measured prior to sampling.
' Semi-annual samples shall be collected during the height of the wet and dry seasons(i.e.winter and summer,
respectively).
In addition, the on-site supply well shall be sampled and analyzed during the first, third and fifth year
of monitoring. The groundwater sample shall be analyzed for the same compounds as required for the
monitoring wells. Measurements for groundwater levels may be deleted if well head access is
unavailable. Upon written request from the Discharger, analyses for Nitrate and TDS may be deleted
from the monitoring program after the fifth year, provided that significant changes in water quality
have not occurred.
REPORTING
In reporting the monitoring data, the Discharger shall arrange the data in tabular form so that the date,
the compounds, and the concentrations are readily discernible. The data shall be summarized in such a
manner to illustrate clearly the compliance with waste discharge requirements. Analytical data sheets
must be included. The annual report shall be submitted to the Regional Board by the 31st of January
of each year and shall cover all waste disposal activities during the previous year.
The annual report shall also contain the following information:
1. Date of the report; name, address, and telephone number of report preparer.
2. The dates and results of all inspections and sampling events as required above.
3. The average daily population of animals at the facility during the 120 day period of maximum
animal confinement.
4. Records of all off-site manure transactions during the previous year including volumes and
destination.
5. Maintenance of freeboard.
6. Maintenance of liner integrity.
