No
significant foundation distress was observed or reported. No geotechnical
report was provided for our review.
Framing System(s) The framing system consists of approximately 30-foot tall,T/4-inch Good
structural thickness,perimeter load-bearing,concrete tilt-up wall panels
and square steel tube interior columns, steel girders and 36-to 32-inch deep
open web steel joists supporting 2"by 6"timber sub-purlins with V2-inch
thick oriented strand board(OSB)roof deck.Steel framing includes bolted
and welded connections. Bay spacings are typically 40 feet and 50 feet in
the east-west direction and approximately 35 feet in the north-south
direction. The structure provides a minimum interior clear height of
approximately 24 feet within the building. No structural design loading
information was provided.
On-Grade Floor According to the structural drawings for similar buildings within the Good
Structure business park, the on-grade floor structure in the main warehouse areas is
expected to consist of a 6-inch thick cast-in-place concrete slab-on-grade
reinforced with No.4 reinforcing steel bars placed at 24-inch intervals each
way over a 6-inch aggregate base and 18 inches of compacted fill.
Construction joints are located at regular intervals in each direction,
typically aligned with the column grid. Typical shrinkage cracks and a few
other minor cracks were observed in the slab.No differential settlement or
heaving was observed at the cracks. No evidence of slab curling was
observed.
Upper Level Floor Not applicable to this facility. N/A
Structure
Roof Structure& The roof deck consists of%:-inch oriented strand board(OSB)wood Good
Decking decking on 2x6 timber sub-purlins supported by steel open web joists. No
active leaks were observed or reported by the tenants. The roof has a built-
up roof system which typically has a 15-year life span and is not expected
to require replacement during the evaluation term.
[Expansion
ecks&Balconies Not applicable to this facility. N/A
tructural Structural expansion is allowed at the exterior wall panel-to-panel joints. Good
Joints Otherwise,no structural expansion joints were provided. No evidence of
obvious and large differential settlements, movement or distress was
observed in the structural anels.
ir Structure Not a licable to this facili . N/A
ailing&Guard Handrails are utilized at exterior ramps and consist of painted steel pipe. Good
ails
Parkin Structure Notapplicable to this facility.
