.s
9.0 WETLANDS
During the 2001 Phase I Site Assessment of the property adjacent to the west of the subject
property, SECOR reviewed the National Wetlands Inventory map prepared by the US
Department of Interior, Fish and Wildlife Service for the Midway quadrangle. A small wetland,
designated PUBF (palustrine, unconsolidated bottom, semi-permanently flooded), along an
intermittent stream was shown to be on or near the property adjacent to the west of the subject
property. An excavated drainage ditch was also observed during SECOR's site inspection on
the adjacent Costco property to the southwest of the subject property. The ditch was in
approximately the same location where the stream was shown on the NWI map. The ditch at
the time flowed into a storm sewer inlet. The stream was observed in its natural state northeast
of the subject property, across Schulte Road. A second wetland, designated PEMC (palustrine,
emergent, seasonally flooded), was depicted on the NWI map on a property along the creek,
further southwest of the property adjacent to the west of the subject property.
Based on the fully developed nature of the subject property at the time of SECOR's site
inspection, it does not appear that wetlands currently exist on the subject property. No further
investigation is warranted.
Final ESA Report-30096.009-Tracy CA.doc 22 SECOR International Incorporated
April 14,2005
