However, SJCCDD should follow-up with the <br /> current status of the clean-up activities for the site. <br /> i <br /> r <br /> Blue Magic Products Incorporated, located approximately 1,600 feet north of the site, appears on <br /> the LUST and CORTESE databases due to a leaking underground storage tank. According to the <br /> EDR report, the leak was discovered on March 22, 1988 during closure of the tank. The released <br /> material was reported as lead and hydrocarbons and is affected the site soil only. The incident <br /> has been signed off and remedial action has been completed or deemed unnecessary. Blue <br /> 4 Magic Products Incorporated, is not expected to pose an adverse impact to the site. <br /> Noack Pumps, located approximately 2,000 feet north of the site, appears on the LUST and <br /> CORTESE databases due to a leaking underground storage tank. According to the EDR report, <br /> the released material was waste oil and affected the site soil only. The leak has been signed off <br /> and remedial action has either been completed or deemed unnecessary. Noack Pumps is not <br /> expected to pose an adverse impact to the site. <br /> Valley Bean Warehouse, Incorporated, located approximately 500 feet west of the site appears <br /> on the HIST-UST database due to an underground storage tank. According to the EDR report, <br /> the tank was installed in 1975 and is used to store regular gasoline. There are no reported <br /> violations for the tank and it is not expected to pose an adverse impact to the site. <br /> Stockton Unified School District (SUSD), located approximately 700 feet northeast of the site <br /> appears on the HAZNET database for the storage of asbestos containing waste, waste oil, <br /> laboratory waste, and other organic solids stored at the facility. The asbestos containing waste <br /> was reported to have been disposed of at a landfill. The laboratory waste and organic solids was <br /> reported to be sent to a transfer station for disposal, and the waste oil taken to a recycles. No <br /> violations are reported for the facility, and it is not expected to pose an adverse impact to the site. <br /> FINDINGS <br /> The following sections describe Kleinfelder's findings and provide a general background <br /> information about the site. Findings include recognized environmental conditions, based on <br /> review of the EDR report and our site reconnaissance. <br /> Background Information <br /> The site is currently a vacant, graded lot. A residence and a septic system are believed to have <br /> previously existed onsite. <br /> Onsite Findings <br /> A buried, capped concrete pipe was located along the eastern edge of the site.
