According to the EDR report, the leak was discovered on March 22, 1988 during closure of the tank. The released material was reported as lead and hydrocarbons and is affected the site soil only. The incident has been signed off and remedial action has been completed or deemed unnecessary. Blue 4 Magic Products Incorporated, is not expected to pose an adverse impact to the site. Noack Pumps, located approximately 2,000 feet north of the site, appears on the LUST and CORTESE databases due to a leaking underground storage tank. According to the EDR report, the released material was waste oil and affected the site soil only. The leak has been signed off and remedial action has either been completed or deemed unnecessary. Noack Pumps is not expected to pose an adverse impact to the site. Valley Bean Warehouse, Incorporated, located approximately 500 feet west of the site appears on the HIST-UST database due to an underground storage tank. According to the EDR report, the tank was installed in 1975 and is used to store regular gasoline. There are no reported violations for the tank and it is not expected to pose an adverse impact to the site. Stockton Unified School District (SUSD), located approximately 700 feet northeast of the site appears on the HAZNET database for the storage of asbestos containing waste, waste oil, laboratory waste, and other organic solids stored at the facility. The asbestos containing waste was reported to have been disposed of at a landfill. The laboratory waste and organic solids was reported to be sent to a transfer station for disposal, and the waste oil taken to a recycles. No violations are reported for the facility, and it is not expected to pose an adverse impact to the site. FINDINGS The following sections describe Kleinfelder's findings and provide a general background information about the site. Findings include recognized environmental conditions, based on review of the EDR report and our site reconnaissance. Background Information The site is currently a vacant, graded lot. A residence and a septic system are believed to have previously existed onsite. Onsite Findings A buried, capped concrete pipe was located along the eastern edge of the site.
