Delta Community College shall provide bus service for Neighborhood A/B students in accordance <br /> with its agreement with LESD. <br /> 5.3 Child Care Provisions <br /> ,r 5.3.1 Master Plan Summary <br /> The Master Plan requires a minimum of three one-acre child care centers within the community, situated <br /> to evenly serve the population. Day and after school child care facilities are encouraged to locate within <br /> the community at sites which are easily accessible to residents and workers,and which are appropriate for <br /> child care uses. Such sites include K-8 schools,neighborhood centers,village centers,business parks and <br /> nearby other commercial and public facilities. The MHCSD and Lammersville Elementary School <br /> District are working together to provide a childcare facility at each neighborhood K-8 school. <br /> 5.3.2 Specific Plan III Description <br /> Child care facilities are to be provided at K-8 schools by Lammersville Elementary School District in <br /> coordination with MHCSD. Child care facilities are also expected to be located in Community College, <br /> and within the Industrial Park. <br /> 5.3.3 Implementation Measures <br /> a. If the operator of the child care facility is a non-profit organization,the land shall be dedicated at no <br /> r <br /> cost to the organization as described in the public lands equity program in the Public Financing Plan. <br /> If a private or non-profit organization is selected as the child care operator,the lands will be sold or <br /> leased by the private land owner at a discounted value,with the conditional agreement that the <br /> operator will provide a minimum number of spaces for low income families. <br /> Draft 03114/05 5-7 <br /> ........................................................................................................................................................................... <br />
