CONTRACT - EXHIBIT A June 9, 1995 <br /> Pg. 3 of 7 <br /> BUELDING MODIFICATION& ADDITION(cont'd) <br /> D) A new wall constructed of metal siding and Z bars shall be constructed to separate the dry <br /> products mfg. area and the new wet products mfg. area. The intent of the wall is to keep <br /> water out of the dry products mfg. area. The wall shall be constructed between two of the <br /> four structure legs supporting the silo structure at the south side of the structure and nun west <br /> to east. The wall shall extend from floor to ceiling (to the underside of the second floor). <br /> Provisions shall be made to silicone seal under the angle iron that secures the siding at the <br /> floor to make it water tight. A foam rubber strip will be installed between the siding and the <br /> angle iron. The 3° door removed from the warehouse east wall shall be used in the new wall. <br /> The metal siding and Z bars removed from the East warehouse wall shall be used for the new <br /> wall as material quality and quantity permits; otherwise, materials shall be new and supplied <br /> by Contractor. Contractor will provide Z bars, Z bar brackets, sheeting, screws, and flashing. <br /> E) An 30" electric motor powered ventilation fan shall be supplied by the Owner and installed <br /> in the new wall by contractor as shown in the drawings. <br /> F) A beam and two channel supports supplied by the Owner and installed by the Contractor <br /> shall be added to the structure of the 1991 building addition at the location of the existing 12' <br /> roll up door coming out of the warehouse to help support the new mixer platform. <br /> G) A beam and other column supports supplied by the Owner and installed by the Contractor <br /> shall be added to the East warehouse wall, where the building siding is to be removed, on the <br /> North end, to take the place of the cable cross bracing. The cross bracing must be removed <br /> to allow passage of a fork lift to remove dry stucco product from the dry products bagging <br /> machine. <br /> H) Vertical pipe guards tied into the silo structure support braces shall be added at the location <br /> of the old East warehouse wall as shown on G&Z Dwg. No. D-14722. Contractor to supply <br /> and install these pipe guards. <br /> I) The existing dry stucco bagging machine shall be rotated 90°to face the warehouse building <br /> (face West). Modification to the APC dust collection duct shall be made. <br /> J) Owner shall supply new handrailing and gates for the second floor to accommodate the <br /> addition of the access platform for the new wet products mixer and the new stairway as <br /> shown in G&Z Dwg. No. D-14722. The new handrailing and swing gates shall be installed <br /> by the Contractor. The Contractor will modify existing handrailing wherever possible as <br /> shown in the above referenced drawing. <br /> K) The Contractor shall remove the existing stairway from the 1991 addition (the resulting hole <br /> at the location where the old stairway was removed, shall be plated over as per G&Z Dwg. <br /> No. D-14722) and install a new stairway. Owner shall supply all new materials required for <br /> stairway and for the closure of the old stairwell. <br />
