PRESENT AND PAST USE OF THE SITE <br /> The proposed 5 acre parcel has been cleared of all vegetation in preparation for future <br /> construction of the proposed home and access driveway. The remaining 74 acres of the property is <br /> covered by vineyards. The vineyards are about one year old. Prior to the vineyards being planted <br /> the land was mostly used as grazing pasture. There are a few mature trees that are in the vicinity of <br /> the home site. <br /> IV. EXISTING AND PROPOSED SEPTIC TANK USAGE <br /> There are no homes or structures currently on the property. There are several neighbors that <br /> are in reasonably close proximity to the subject property. Two of these neighbors were able to be <br /> interviewed and this information is presented next: <br /> OWNER: Danny Milloux <br /> ADDRESS: 19677 E. Harney Lane <br /> LOCATION: 1/2- mile northwest of the subject property <br /> AGE OF HOUSE: 20 years <br /> SEPTIC SYSTEM: Yes, utilizing a septic system with leach lines located on the northeast side <br /> of the house. The owner has had no problems with the system. <br /> OWNER: Ernie Martin <br /> ADDRESS: 17900 E. Harney Lane <br /> LOCATION: 2 miles west of the subject property. <br /> AGE OF HOUSE: 25 years <br /> SEPTIC SYSTEM: Yes,but the owner wasn't able to specify the type of septic system nor where <br /> it was located. The owner has had no problems with the system. <br /> V. GROUND WATER DEPTH AND TESTING <br /> According to the San Joaquin County Flood Control and Water Conservation District's <br /> Groundwater Map published in 1996, the groundwater depth is between 180 to 200 feet. <br /> The well located at 19677 E. Harney Lane was sampled on August 13, 1998 by a <br /> representative of our office and tested for the presence of nitrates and dibromochloropropane <br /> (DBCP). Test results indicated that DBCP was non-detected and the level of nitrate was 11 mg/1, <br /> ER S <br />
