SITE SAFETY WORKPLAN AND GENERAL WORK PRACTICES <br /> PERSONNEL: Larry A. Flora, Professional Geologist #4759 <br /> Cell Phone: 916-343-2646 <br /> ON SITE RESPONSIBLIBILITIES: Oversee drilling operations, air monitoring, <br /> determining when site level will be changed, and arrange for all necessary <br /> inspections. <br /> ADR is responsible for the safety of all ADR and contract workers on site. However, <br /> each contractor shall provide all the equipment necessary to meet safe operating <br /> practices and procedures for their personal on-site (this includes respirators, <br /> cartridges, steel toed boots, ear and eye protection, etc.) and be responsible for the <br /> safety of their workers. <br /> PERIMETER ESTABLISHMENT: Removal and lawful disposal of contaminated soil from <br /> the site requires the establishment of discreet zones at the site to limit the spread of <br /> potentially hazardous materials and to protect working personnel and adjacent <br /> property. <br /> INVESTIGATION-DERIVED MATERIAL DISPOSAL: All soil and water waste generated <br /> by the drilling (including decon water) will be placed into labeled, sealed, 55-gallon <br /> DOT drums for future off-site disposal. <br /> SECURITY MEASURES: The following general work zone security guidelines will <br /> be implemented: <br /> • If warranted, securing the site will consist of barricading the excavation with <br /> orange cones and/or barricade tape. <br /> • The drill site will not be left unattended. Visitors will not enter the work zone <br /> unless they have attended a project safety briefing. <br /> • Visitors who do not have business related to the project will be excluded from <br /> the work area. <br />
