APPROVAL: This approval shall be for a phased six (6) <br /> year excavation of the 147-acre portion of the project <br /> site, as shown on the approved Mining and Reclamation <br /> Plan. <br /> b. RECLAMATION PLAN: The Mining and Reclamation Plan <br /> shall be prepared by a registered Civil Engineer, <br /> showing drainage, driveway access details, on-site <br /> parking, existing and proposed utility services, <br /> grading and reclamation. Storm drainage runoff shall <br /> be retained on the site. The drainage pattern and <br /> corresponding storm drain improvements shall be shown <br /> on the Plan. A plan check fee as specified by Section <br /> 9-240 will be required. The Mining and Reclamation <br /> Plan shall be approved by all agencies with permit <br /> authority prior to initiating the use. <br /> C. STOCKPILES AND SCREENING: No stockpiled soil or <br /> material shall be placed closer than 25 feet to a <br /> property boundary except where shown on plans to <br /> provide landscape berm for screening (provided that <br /> sight distances at road intersections are not <br /> impaired) . (Development Title Section 9-1415 . 3 [b] ) <br /> d. PRIVATE ROADS: All private roads involved in an <br /> excavation shall be maintained so as to control the <br /> creation of dust. The first one hundred (100) feet of <br /> any private road on the property which intersects with <br /> a publicly maintained road shall be surfaced in a <br /> manner approved by the Director. Traffic-control and <br /> warning signs shall be installed, if required, at such <br /> intersection. The placement and size of these signs <br /> shall be approved by the Director of Public Works. <br /> (Development Title Section 9-1415 . 3 [c] ) <br /> e. EROSION CONTROL: Protective vegetative planting, silt <br /> screen dams, or other approved methods shall be <br /> required where necessary for the control of erosion. <br /> An erosion and sediment control plan approved by <br /> Development Services Division shall be part of the <br /> reclamation plan.
