This report should not be relied upon after 180 days from the date of <br /> ` issuance(ASTM Standard E 1527-00, Section 4.6). <br /> 2.0 SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> L 2.1 LOCATION AND LEGAL DESCRIPTION <br /> The Site is located in Stockton, California, and is shown on the Stockton East, California,U.S. Geological <br /> ` Survey (USGS) 7.5-Minute Topographic Map, dated 1987 in Section 56, Township 1 North, Range 7 <br /> East, Mount Diablo Base and Meridian. The Site consists of one parcel and portions of three parcels <br /> totaling approximately 27 acres located at 4860, 4798, 4708, and 4642 East Main Street, Stockton, with <br /> t APNs 173-210-04, 173-210-05, 173-210-06, and 173-210-07 as shown on Figure 3 in Appendix A. 3� <br /> 2.2 SITE AND VICINITY GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS <br /> I The USGS topographic map shows that the terrain of the Site is nearly flat with a slight topographic <br /> gradient to the west. The area is used for mixed commercial, agricultural, and residential purposes. State <br /> Highway 99 is located approximately 1/2 mile west of the Site and East Main Street is the eastern portion <br /> of the northern Site boundary. Mormon Slough is the southern Site boundary. Downtown Stockton is <br /> located west of the Site. <br /> 2.3 CURRENT USES OF THE PROPERTY <br /> San Joaquin County Assessor's Office Property Detail indicates that the Site properties are described as <br /> agricultural.The Site reconnaissance revealed that the Site consists of one parcel and the portions of three <br /> parcels that are all currently fallow farmland. Owner questionnaires and interviews revealed the fields <br /> WP have historically been used for agricultural purposes. <br /> 2.4 DESCRIPTIONS OF STRUCTURES,ROADS, OTHER IMPROVEMENTS ON SITE <br /> s <br /> The Site is currently fallow agricultural land with a north/south trending dirt road located between APNs <br /> 173-210-05 and 06 and a dirt road along the eastern Site boundary. An east/west trending dirt road is <br /> located along the southern Site boundary, north of Mormon Slough. Subsurface irrigation piping is <br /> located on all of the parcels.Two irrigation wells with pumps and small concrete reservoirs are located on C3 3) <br /> APNs 173-210-04 and 173-210-06. Transformer-bearing utility poles are also located on these two <br /> parcels. One of the transformers located on 173-210-06 was not labeled as non-PCB containing; no signs <br /> of leakage were noted on the transformer or on the soil beneath. Telephone and electrical cables are <br /> located overhead along the south side of E.
