The <br /> _ SWIS states that the site is owned by the Life Estate of W.J. Burchell. The SWIS lists the site to be <br /> an unpermitted and a closed solid waste disposal site. <br /> We interviewed Mr. Ted Viss, Inspector from the San Joaquin County Agricultural Commissioner's <br /> .. Office (SJCACO). Mr. Viss stated that cucumber, sugar beets, and alfalfa have been grown on the <br /> Property since before 1960. Mr. Viss reported that Direx 4L, Poast,Velpar L, ard Furadan 4fwere <br /> ` the most likely pesticides to have been used. We reviewed data prepared by Oregon State <br /> University, Extension Toxicology Network (EXTOXNET). EXTOXNET reports the half-life of <br /> .. these four pesticides ranges from 5 days to 1 year. <br /> We interviewed Mr. Darryl Johnson of PG&E.
