NOTE: Any construction activity that results in the disturbance of at least one acre of soil shall require a <br /> State NPDES construction permit. <br /> NOTE: In Rural Residential roadways, A.C. dikes shall be prohibited, and the shoulder width shall be six <br /> feet wide. <br /> 5. ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH DEPARTMENT(Staff Contact: Ted Tasiopoulos, 953-7698) <br /> a. The Environmental Heath Department requires a soil suitability/nitrate loading study indicating that <br /> the area is suitable for septic tank usage. This must be performed prior to recordation of the Final <br /> Map(Development Title Section 9-11052[d]). A review fee of$465.00 must be paid at the time of <br /> submittal to Environmertal Health. <br /> The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on-site sewage standards of San Joaquin County <br /> prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of the manual of septic tank practice <br /> or the EPA Design Manual for on-site waste water treatment and disposal systems_ is required for <br /> each parcel.`A permit fee of$93.00 per percolation hole is required. <br /> b. The existing private water wells shall be tested for the chemical Dibromochloropropane (DBCP) and <br /> nitrates prior to recordation of the Final Map. Samples are to be taken and analyzed by a State <br /> approved laboratory. (Development Title Section 9-115.7) <br /> c. Construction of individual sewage disposal systems under permit and inspection by Environmental <br /> Health is required at the time of development based on the Soil Suitability/Nitrate Loading Study <br /> findings. (Development Title Section 9-1110.4) <br /> d. Construction of individual domestic water wells under permit and inspection by Environmental Health <br /> is required at the time of development.
