COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT (Staff Contact: Jennifer Jolley, 468- 3161) a. BUILDING PERMIT: Submit an "APPLICATION-COMMERCIAL BUILDING PERMIT'. The Site Plan required as a part of the building permit must be prepared by a registered civil engineer or licensed architect. This Plan must show drainage, driveway access details including gates, on-site parking, landscaping, signs, existing and proposed utility services, and grading (refer to the "SITE PLAN CHECK LIST' for details). A fee is required for the Site Plan review. (Development Title Section 9-884) b. APPROVED USE: This approval is for a gunite storage facility to be built in two phases as shown on the Plan dated March 12, 2001. (Use Type: General I nd u stri a I-Limited). (1) Phase I: • Construct a 3,200 square foot pole barn to provide storage of gunite materials and equipment. • Erect a cement silo. • Establish an area to provide employee parking and storage of eight (8) trucks. • Use one (1) existing 1,800 square foot single family residence as a caretaker home • Use one (1) existing 800 square foot office for gunite business • Build four(4) 320 square foot modular storage containers (2) Phase II: • Construct a 3,200 square foot shop (building permits for this shop shall be issued prior to September 1, 2002). c. BUSINESS LICENSE: The applicant shall secure an approved Business License prior to the initiation of the use. The Business License may be applied for concurrently with the building permit application. (Section 7-1000 of the County Ordinance Code) d. STORM DRAINAGE: Storm-water drainage shall be retained on-site. The drainage pattern and corresponding storm drain improvements shall be shown on the Site Plan. Drainage calculations prepared by a registered civil engineer or architect shall be included. (Development Title Section 9-1135)
