SITE IMPROVEMENTS S SERVICES
Water:
A well will be constructed under permit and inspection of the Environmental Health Division prior to
occupancy. This well will be used for domestic and irrigation water requirements. Cross
contamination and backflow prevention will be included in the design.
The site has been tested for nitrates and well water from an adjacent property has been analyzed.
(see appendix for test results and Nitrate Study report)
If required, A separate well will be constructed with a design flow and storage capacity required for
fire sprinklers or hydrants.
Sewage Disposal:
._ A septic system with a engineered leach field disposal area is proposed for Phase I &II construction.
Design and construction shall be reviewed and approved by the Environmental Health Division. The
disposal field shall be located beyond the minimum distance from wells and property lines required
and will be separated with a curb to prevent vehicles from driving over or parking on the field.
(see civil engineering section in appendix)
As per the attached nitrate loading study no significant impact is expected as a result of this septic
system.
Phase III construction will require a manufactured package waste treatment plant. The clean water
will be used for irrigation in the summer and metered at an acceptable rate into the leach field during
winter months.
Storm Water:
The site will be graded to direct storm water run off away from buildings, parking areas and adjacent
properties. Storm water will be retained on site by a retention basin designed and constructed per
county standards.
