to the south of the shop. Ms. Van Groningen indicated the location of the septic_ <br /> system to the north of the house. <br /> To the southwest of the house and shop is an irrigation well. Three stationary, <br /> plastic fertilizer tanks, and two mobile, plasti�anks were observed near the well. <br /> At the western end of the field road, a brush pile was observed. <br /> F1 second irrigation well is located at the eastern end of the canal crossing the <br /> Site, near Jack Tone Road. Five plastic fertilizer tanks were observed at this <br /> location. Minor oil staining typical of pump maintenance was observed around <br /> the wellhead. An out-of-use pump for the irrigation canal was observed just north <br /> of the irrigation well. <br /> The second house on the Site (12385) is located off Jack Tone Road near the <br /> center of the easter side�of the Site. A garage is located to the southwest of this <br /> house. 'A domestic well was observed to the west of the house, and a secon <br /> well tote north of that.—Ms. Van Groningen indicated the location of the se <br /> system to the south of the house. <br /> Two pole-mounted transformers were observed on the Site. One of these was <br /> labeled with a blue sticker to indicate that it is free of polychlorinated biphenyls <br /> (PCBs). <br /> To the north of the Site is a field planted with watermelons. To the east is Jack <br /> Tone Road, followed by onion fields and a vineyard. To the south is a field <br /> planted with alfalfa, and to the west is a young orchard. <br /> 5.0 INTERVIEWS <br /> 5.1 Interview with Client <br /> Pat Van Groningen was interviewed during the site visit on June 9, 2015. She <br /> indicated that that a group of seven family members, including herself, has <br /> owned the Site since 2003. Jason Van Groningen lives in the house, she said. <br /> Ms. Van Groningen stated that the land has been used in the past to grow a <br /> variety of row crops, including black-eyed peas, onions, tomatoes, and corn. <br /> Ms. Van Groningen stated that the main house on the Site was built around <br /> 2005. <br /> Other than the gasoline tank observed near the house, Ms. Van Groningen was <br /> not aware of any fuel tanks, chemical storage, automotive or equipment <br /> maintenance, spills, or other environmental issues affecting the Site. <br /> LOGE 1512 4 <br />
