3.7 Description of Pro sod-or Expected Maximum (including second unit dwellings) septic
tank usage on site. four parcels will likely have only primary residences, no second unit
dwellings are plane Thus only
. one septic system per parcel is anticipated at this time. Per
County ordinances, each parcel on this map is entitled to one primary residence and one second
unit dwelling. Due to the current number of septic systems and potential for new systems, this
property could ultimately have 10 septic systems.
4.0 GROUNDWATER INFORMATION SECTION:
1/ 4.1 Description of the depth and gradient of groundwater in the general area: The depth to
ground water in this area is approximately 130 feet according to the map of"Lines of Equal
Depth to Groundwater" published Spring, 1999, by the San Joaquin County Flood Control and
f Water Conservation District. The gradient descends from east to west.
4.2 Description/Discussion
of any existing and/or potential groundwater contamination
issues in the general location of the site: The concerns for groundwater contamination in this
' area is deemed low due to the depths involved.
p Insecticides, pesticides, and fertilizers typically
do not impact groundwater at these depths, however, as with any agricultural area, there is
always potential for contamination due to chemicals used in the fa in peration. Nitrate
levels were surprisingly low considering the past land use. /
4.3 Description of location
p , type and construction of well and location where water
sample(s) were obtained: Water samples were taken from a spigot at the house located at
23490 N. Jack Tone Road on May 12, 2005 by Louie Mendez of Dillon & Murphy. The water
samples were obtained at this location due to the fact that the home lies within the boundaries of
this project.
4.4 Description of constituents being tested for in the water sample: The water samples
ted for nitrates and DBCP(ere or dibromochloropropane (DBCP)were
r225 ruL #0.225 the results for nitrates 11.6 mg/L.
4.5 Description of how sample was obtained, handled, stored, and transported to the lab:
The water samples were obtained from the spigot at the house located 23490 N. Jack Tone Road.
_ The samples were taken by Louie Mendez of Dillon & Murphy, and driven directly to Precision
Enviro-Tech. The samples were taken and handled in accordance with Precision Enviro-Tech
requirements. The results from the test can be found in the Appendix.
4 4.6 Complete Chain of Custody document, including printed and signed name of third
party sampler, condition of sample and date and time the sample was submitted to the
lab. For Laboratory samplers, complete laboratory report to include the above noted
information: The complete chain of custody document is located in the Appendix.
2
cA04201soi[Report
