L %-lod •,., <br /> September 28, 2005 <br /> /NOA Project Number: E05116A <br /> y <br /> { 2,2 Aerial Photographs <br /> Aerial photographs depicting the subject property dated 1937,1952,1963,1975 and 1983 were reviewed <br /> at the SanJoaquin County Surveyor's Office in Stockton,California.; One additional photo,dated 1993, <br /> was obtained from Microsoft Terraserver.4 <br /> L ✓ In the 1937 photo, the subject property appears to be grazing land with two large trees. A mottled <br /> effect from wetlands can be seen on the property and surrounding properties to the south, east, and <br /> west. Jahant Road can be seen to the north, followed by orchards, crop land, and rural residences. <br /> Orchards with rural residences lie to the east and west. Grazing land can be seen to the south. <br /> ` In the 1952 photo,the subject property appears to be an orchard. One or more structures are apparent <br /> L in the northeast comer of the property. The trees and wetland areas on the property are no longer <br /> apparent The adjacent properties to the west and southeast no longer appear to be orchards,while new <br /> orchards have been planted to the east and southwest. <br /> /In the 1963 photo, the subject property appears to be a vineyard. The immediate vicinity appears <br /> relatively unchanged from the previous photo. <br /> L /The scale of the 1975 photo is such as to make discerning site-specific detail impossible. The adjacent <br /> property to the west appears to be planted with orchard. <br /> L ✓In the 1983 photo,the subject property remains a vineyard. The immediate vicinity appears relatively <br /> unchanged from the previous photo. <br /> / In the 1993 photo, the subject property appears relatively unchanged from the previous photo. A <br /> structure and some debris can be seen to the south of the subject property. <br /> L / These photos are included in Appendix C of this report. NOA's ability to interpret the land uses is <br /> limited by the scale and quality of the photos. <br /> 2.3 USGS Topographic Maps <br /> L The topographic quadrangle depicting the subject property is the U.S. Geological Survey,Lockeford, <br /> California, quadrangle map. One 7.5-minute map dated 1990 was available through Microsoft <br /> + Terraserver. <br /> L <br /> In the 1990 map,the subject property is depicted as vacant land with a structure and well in its northeast <br /> comer.
